Privacy Policy — Blocks

Last updated: 16 May 2026 Effective date: 16 May 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Blocks ("the App", "the Game") handles information about you. Please read it before using the App.

1. Who we are

The App is provided by WowraDev ("we", "us", "our").

  • Legal entity: Wowra Dev KFT
  • Registered address: HUNGARY BUDAPEST 1124 FODOR STR 57.
  • Contact e-mail: marcellkristof.elek@gmail.com

WowraDev is the data controller responsible for the processing described below.

2. Summary

Blocks is a single-player puzzle game. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not knowingly collect data that directly identifies you. We do use third-party services for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising, and those services collect device and usage data as described below.

3. Information stored only on your device

The following data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or to any third party:

  • Leaderboard names and scores — names you type when saving a score.
  • Game progress — your current board state, so an unfinished game can be resumed.
  • Settings — for example whether sound is muted.

This data is stored locally using the device's app storage. Removing or reinstalling the App deletes it.

4. Information collected by third-party services

To run and improve the App we use the following services. Each collects data on its own behalf as an independent data processor or controller:

4.1 Google Firebase Analytics

Collects app usage and event data (for example: game starts, game-over events, score milestones, screen interactions), along with device information (device model, operating system, language, region) and a randomly generated app instance identifier. We use this to understand how the Game is played and to improve it.

4.2 Google Firebase Crashlytics

Collects crash reports and diagnostic information (stack traces, device state at the time of a crash, operating system version) so we can find and fix stability problems.

4.3 Google AdMob (advertising)

Displays banner and full-screen (interstitial) advertisements. AdMob and its partners may collect a device advertising identifier, IP address, ad interaction data, and coarse device information to serve and measure ads.

5. Advertising and your choices

  • Consent (EEA / UK): If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the App shows a consent message (Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are used. You can choose personalized or non-personalized ads, and you can change your choice later from within the App.
  • iOS App Tracking Transparency: On iOS the App asks for permission before using your device identifier for tracking. If you decline, you still receive ads, but they are non-personalized.
  • Resetting your advertising ID: You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

6. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Consent — for personalized advertising and analytics, where consent is required.
  • Legitimate interests — for crash reporting and basic, non-personalized analytics needed to keep the App stable and functional.

7. Data retention

We do not store your data on our own servers. Data collected by the third-party services is retained according to their respective retention policies (see links in Section 10). Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at marcellkristof.elek@gmail.com. You may also exercise rights directly with the third-party services listed in Section 10.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
